Glore Mill Arts CenterCelebrate the Seasons - Celebrate Life.

Keeping in time with the nature's seasons and noting in some small celebratory way those days keeps the creative spirit alive in us.

"Hoop of the Seasons" was painted as a meditation and ritual circle after the bombing of the towers in New York on 9-11-01.

It contains symbols from many world religions and was meant to be a source of unity and healing.

Over fifty women from Kiltimagh, Ireland came in the weeks after the terrorist attack to the top floor of the Glore Mill Art Centre to meditate, do yoga, chant, pray and sing using practices from the Orient, Native American, East Indian and Christian traditions.
